Cannes Festival 2026 — Access Codes

Cannes is the most regulated event in the international calendar. The festival operates on layered access — every badge has a colour, every colour has a privilege. Understanding the system is half the battle.

The badge system

White is press, pink is industry, blue is general. Within blue: Pavilion, Riviera, Palais, Salle Debussy. The badge dictates the queue, the timing, the dress code. Pavilion-tier badges access the rooftop bar of the Palais — the most underestimated networking zone.

Dress code by hour

Mornings: business casual. Afternoons: sharp daywear, no jeans on the Croisette during festival hours. Evenings: bow tie required for Lumière premieres, jacket and tie acceptable for Debussy and most others.

The chauffeur protocol

No private vehicles in front of the Palais during festival days unless authorised. Drop-off at Allée Lavinière for Lumière, Boulevard de la Croisette for Debussy. Parking secured 200m from each venue. We coordinate with festival security 6 weeks before opening.
